Went 9-0 and lost only sets despite playing without Jordyn Daniels

San Antonio Antonian went into the 49th Fraulein Volleyfest, the hardest tournament in central Texas, without key player Jordyn Daniels. It didn’t matter as the Apaches, winners of the 2025 TAPPS state title, beat 2025 FV champ Austin Lake Travis 21, 25 to win the title and their 31st consecutive win dating back to 2025.

Lucy Rote was named tournament MVP for her play. Lake Travis’ Gentry Barker, a past state champion at Lucas Lovejoy and SDSU commit, had a big tournament for the Cavaliers who were trying to become the 1st repeat champion since New Braunfels in 2011-2012.

The last team to win FV and a state title in same year was 2015 Dripping Springs.
