San Antonio Wagner football players stand next to plaque honoring Karen Wagner who died at the Pentagon on September 11, 2001. JISD honored Wagner, a 1979 Converse Judson alum, by naming JISD’s 2nd high school after her when it opened in 2005.
Today’s high school students were years from being born when 9/11 happened. While they don’t have memories of that day, they do honor her and other heroes by remembering her and them.
